Superocean heritage returns — sharper, sleeker, and soaked in sun
Since its debut in 1957, Breitling’s Superocean has never been just another dive watch. With its arrow-tipped hands and clean proportions, it earned a place on the wrists of style-conscious adventurers — more Bond than Navy Seal. Now, the Superocean Heritage is back, with its first major refresh since 2017. And this time, it’s not just a technical upgrade — it’s a full-circle tribute to coastal culture, refined craftsmanship, and a spirit that belongs equally to surfers and city dwellers.
Designed for the sea, and the scene
The 2025 Superocean Heritage lineup blends the best of then and now. Still unmistakably retro at heart, it now comes in six sizes (from 36 mm to 44 mm) and introduces the new B31 manufacture movement — Breitling’s first exclusive three-hand caliber. The larger 42 mm chronograph is powered by the brand’s flagship Caliber 01, while even the smallest models stay mechanically ambitious with COSC-certified precision.
Colours have been simplified to a sharp trio — black, blue, and green — each matched with a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel. And in a nod to versatility, you can now choose between mesh-metal or mesh-rubber straps, each with a folding clasp and a beautifully integrated fit. Select models also feature responsibly sourced 18k red gold — a warm detail that adds depth without flash.
It’s still unmistakably Superocean, but it wears cleaner, lighter, and more confidently than ever.

Kelly Slater gets his own (and it’s a beauty)
If you ask any surfer where the sport’s soul lives, most will point to Hawaii. So it feels only right that the Kelly Slater Limited Edition Superocean — released to celebrate the champion’s legacy — channels the islands in both spirit and design.
The dial is stamped with a tropical foliage motif, the caseback reveals the B31 movement, and engraved into the steel is “One of 500”. Available with a blue rubber strap or a stainless-steel mesh bracelet, it also ships with a floral box and a personal note from Slater himself. The entire piece feels laid-back yet considered — much like the man it honours.
Slater puts it best:
“This watch reflects everything I love — the ocean, nature, and the easygoing style I’ve always connected with.”
Not just a watch. A vibe.
Breitling didn’t stop at the wrist. To complete the lifestyle around the Superocean Heritage, they’ve partnered with Cutler and Gross on a capsule of sunglasses. With lacquer-filled temple tips, Milanese detailing, and a whisper of red-gold accents, the collection feels like a well-tuned extension of the watches themselves. Every style is limited to 500 pieces and finished with ZEISS LightPro® Technology.
And in a particularly playful twist, Breitling also teamed up with Havaianas to release a line of flip-flops — sun-soaked, floral, and ideal for slipping from yacht to beach without a thought.
A modern classic with salty roots
This update is more than a product release — it’s a reaffirmation of Breitling’s lifestyle philosophy. A belief that technical mastery should feel effortless. That elegance doesn’t mean fragility. That the best design moves with you — from surf to sidewalk, sunrise to sunset.
With over 70 hours of power reserve, ocean-grade materials, and a visual identity that feels both grounded and aspirational, the Superocean Heritage 2025 collection marks a confident return — not to form, but to feeling.
It’s a watch for people who know the sea. And love how it looks on land.
